Psychoactive medications

 Long habituated to psychotropic medication, people find withdrawal and adjustment difficult.

I think that psychoactive medication pulls a patina or cover over "severe depression" and "trauma". The underlying problem or problems must resolve themselves quietly and unobtrusively before withdrawal of this artificial relief.

Medication?
