Coughing fits
Coughing fits which are caused by whooping cough have made their reappearance because there is a lower uptake of vaccines. Likewise,smoking and inhalation of exhaust fumes is a serious cause of coughing fits and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder. However,other causes should be noted such as radiation causing lengthening of filaments in the oesophagus and pulmonary tract and lungs. Where medication is prescribed which supressses the immune system there may be a tendency for debris to lodge in the throat. I speak from personal experience.
